Akula ji is one of our artisan partners from Maniabandha, Orissa and is making beautiful ikat fabric for us. He is part of Tata Trust's Anataran Programme and is here in Delhi for an exhibition with them. He has been associated with his craft for over 30 years - his neighbour was a weaver and his mother used to help with ancillary activities. He now runs his own unit.

Akula ji enjoys Dussehra and Diwali - especially eating sweets and gathering with friends and family.
