We offer free delivery for orders above Rs. 500. For orders under Rs. 500, the applicable delivery charge is Rs. 60.

Yes! You can exchange your order for free. You only have to pay for the cost of delivery.

Whaaaat? We do our best to ensure that this doesn't happen. However, in case your order is damaged, incorrect, or missing an item, please email us at hello@tamarindchutney.inwith the details of your order along with a photograph. We will either replace your items or offer a refund via store credits.

If you don’t like your order for any reason, you can return it to us within 15 days of delivery. The garment must be unworn with tags intact. Please write to us at hello@tamarindchutney.in requesting a return and we will pick it up from you. 

We will refund the amount paid in the form of store credits that you can use for your next purchase. Please note that refunds do not include delivery charges.

It's a funny coincidence :) Tanvi and Charanya (the founders of our brand) were sitting together trying to name their baby brand while snacking on - you guessed it - tamarind chutney.

They didn't even realize that their initials match the brand's until customers started pointing it out. It was serendipity.

That's a great question. To put it simply, as a sustainable brand, we're committed to producing and selling all our products in an environmentally conscious manner.

Why? The fashion industry as it operates today is incredibly polluting and wasteful. It accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions, consumes a lot of water, contributes heavily to plastic pollution, and leeches toxic chemicals into the water. We talk about this extensively on our social media and in our blogs.

The planet cannot support this way of producing and consuming fashion. Not only does it have direct environmental consequences, it also negatively impacts human beings, especially those who are already the most vulnerable and marginalized.

This is another important question. Along with being unsustainable, the fashion industry is also heavily exploitative. Poverty-level wages and unsafe and unhygienic working conditions aren't the exception, but the norm. We talk about this extensively on our social media and in our blogs.
