Deviji worked for a master weaver for the last 10 years. After recently completing a 6-month residential training program organized by The Handloom School, Deviji became an entrepreneur :) He credits his wife Pushpa for encouraging and supporting him to improve his skills and participate in the program.

Deviji and Pushpa have a young son, Kunal, who is currently in primary school and is quite mischievous. The family enjoys watching cricket, as well as videos on their mobile phones. Deviji's favourite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and he loves Gujarati food!
