Satya Narayan began working as a block printer in 1982, in Sanganer and soon realised this is what he was born to do. Fast forward to 1985, he set up his own unit with 1 table and 3 additional artisans. He now runs a 50 artisan unit with three tables where he can print upto 1000 meters of fabric everyday.

His is one of the many units in Sanganer that specialises in the prints we've come to associate with Rajasthan. With the help of this brother and son he has been supplying to brands in Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. He introduces new blocks almost every month but his secret is to recycle blocks that went out of trend years ago, bringing them back in vogue ;)
