This power loom fabric is hand-printed using an intricately carved wooden block in Sanganer, Rajasthan. Sanganeri block prints are known for their exquisite floral motifs. They are usually printed on soft mulmul fabric using the 'calico' method, where the outline of the print is made first and then filled in.

Love the fabric, the print and the fit of this mini skirt.

I ordered 2 skirts and a pant - all in the size XL and the same size fit for all 3. It is amazing to buy from a brand when the sizing is done so well! I love the values Tamarind Chutney stands for, the simplicity of the designs and the fact that they are limited and the honesty about the manufacturing process. I have been wearing their patiala salwar for a few years now and it is one of my favourite things to wear in Mumbai summers and winters! Brilliant fabric, print and most importantly the comfort!
