This power loom fabric is hand-printed using an intricately carved wooden block in Sanganer, Rajasthan. Sanganeri block prints are known for their exquisite floral motifs. They are usually printed on soft mulmul fabric using the 'calico' method, where the outline of the print is made first and then filled in.

This skirt is great from the print to the design. It is also great to have pockets! It does run a little small so I had to take it to the tailor to be altered. I would order a size up.
