This power loom fabric is hand-printed using an intricately carved wooden block in Sanganer, Rajasthan. Sanganeri block prints are known for their exquisite floral motifs. They are usually printed on soft mulmul fabric using the 'calico' method, where the outline of the print is made first and then filled in.
This plain fabric is 100% surplus - material that was leftover from other production and would have usually been disposed. By purchasing this garment, you're making a sustainable choice and saving the fabric from the landfill.
