Dabu is a mud rest block printing technique from Rajasthan. Dabu print uses paste from mud, resin lime and wheat chaff. The paste is printed onto plain fabric using wooden blocks. The mud essentially resists the dye from entering the fabric, leaving those parts plain while the unresisted parts get dyed.

Extremely soft

I’ve always been eyeing this saree because it has such cool color and patterns but wasn’t sure about the material. It is the kind of a saree you can wear in hot weather/places too. Even better if would be: Hope there was a ready to wear option so I could wear it more often!
