A small edit of beautiful, easy-to-wear sarees in silk and cotton-silk, selected for their colour, texture and individuality. From understated antique gold to vivid fuchsia and jewel-toned purple, each saree has its own character and can be styled for intimate celebrations, festive occasions and everything in between.

Each saree is a single, one-off piece, so there is only one available in each design. Every saree comes with a coordinating blouse piece, with fall and pico already done, making it ready to wear.

As these are one-of-a-kind pieces, there is no repeat stock and individual sarees cannot be reproduced once sold. Slight variations in weave, texture and finish are part of the character of the fabric.

This fabric is woven completely by hand, and no electronic machines were harmed in the process :) Weaving is the interlacing of threads perpendicular to each other. The vertical thread is called the warp or tana and the horizontal thread is called the weft or bana.  Plain weaves start with 2 sets of thread, and complicated weaves can have as many as 400 sets of threads!
